Legal statements regulating usage of electronic signature in Poland, European Union and in the World allow using several standards and technologies for e-signature creation. This has an impact on the number of methods and applications for e-signature validation bringing complications and difficulties – not anyone have an immediate access to appropriate application and validation of the signature become very difficult or even impossible.

Therefore qualified service e-Notarius, provided by General Certification Authority CERTUM, is being recommended, and provides:

liable and easy for users e-signature(-s) validation,
and verification of public key certificate(-s) status, connected with signature(-s).

This service is dedicated for all e-signature users and also for those who would like to have automatic validation process for signed e-documents verified by the use of various certificates and saved in different formats (however compatible with technical and organizational regulations for qualified subjects providing certification services, certification policies for qualified certificates issued by those subjects and technical regulations for secure signature creation devices (SSCD) for e-signature creation and validation).

The e-Notarius service is based on the DVCS server (Data Validation and Certification Server) according to Certification Policy in accordance with Polish Act on Digital Signature. The e-Notarius service is being audited by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Poland and is listed in the registry of qualified services related to e-signature under the name ”Data Validation”.

Given by General Certification Authority CERTUM e-signature validation status Verified positively (Verification complete) guarantee this e-signature is equivalent to handwritten signature in accordance with appropriate electronic signature law of a given country.

For commercial purposes:

The e-Notarius service provided by General Certification Authority CERTUM can be used for commercial purposes only on the basis of signed contract with Unizeto Technologies SA.

For non-commercial purposes:

The e-Notarius service for validation of e-signatures verified by Polish qualified certificates can be used free of charge and without contract.
